What is OMAKASE?


OMAKASE, meaning “it’s up to you”, is a Japanese Sushi-dining style, in which the customers leave it up to the chef to select seasonal ingredients and ways to prepare.


In Europe OMAKASE-style is not yet well-known but here at THE SAKAI you can enjoy the Chef’s OMAKASE-Course just like in Japan – selected and freshly prepared by the Chef Hiro Sakai, who has 28 years of experience and runs 4 popular restaurants in Japan.
